Share the Board
Put the board between you and take turns on the same phone, tablet, or computer. There is no room to create. The first player flips, colors are assigned on the spot, and the turn marker shows when to pass the device.
Agree on the Basics
Leave the device facing one direction. The first player taps a hidden disc; that color is theirs. Later turns are a flip or a move with a face-up piece of that color.
If one player is new, mention the two rules that are easiest to miss: a soldier may capture a king, and a face-down disc cannot be taken. Cannon jumps are easier to learn when they first appear.
Decide before the opening flip whether undo is allowed. Since the first player always flips first, a fair round is two games with the seating reversed.

Watch the Turn Marker
The status bar shows whose turn it is. A hidden disc flips in one tap. A face-up piece needs a selection, then a highlighted square. Choosing the wrong piece does nothing permanent. Once colors are assigned and the marker changes, hand the device over.

Let the Board Settle It
A capture may fail even when the attacking piece looks stronger. Rank, the soldier-king exception, hidden discs, and the cannon's one-screen jump all matter. The board checks those rules before highlighting a destination. The marks settle whether a move is legal, not whether it is a good one.

Swap Seats Next Game
The first player always flips first, so change seats for the second game. Count wins in pairs if you want a longer match. Every flip and move is saved, and replay makes it easy to check a disputed capture or find the turn that exposed a king.
